ENCLAVE for Entrepreneurs

Just west of Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Elk Grove's Village's service partner (since 2017), ENCLAVE Learning & Earning Center at 75 Turner Avenue (near intersection of Arlington Heights Road and Devon Avenue), continues to provide for business owners and other venture leaders social-psychology-based solutions and opportunities to improve overall personal and organizational performance.

Daily coaching, advising, and mentoring, weekly peer-to-peer open forums, monthly masterclasses, quarterly reviews of regional resources, and the Annual Luminary Leaders Awards Ceremony are ENCLAVE's principal programs and activities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all programs are offered online and telephonically.

Makers Wanted™ Workshops, offered by Founders1st™ Academy at ENCLAVE, are specifically designed for select leaders of Elk Grove Village businesses and other organizations. Throughout 2020, the Village underwrites tuition and expenses for up to 20 high-impact business leaders for the series of 10 monthly three-hour workshops (January-July then September through November).

Facilitated by three globally recognized subject matter experts, with over 140 years of relevant experience among them, Makers Wanted™ Workshops offer adult education toward deeper, wider, and higher insights about the mission criticality of each leader's (1) sound judgment, (2) structured relationships, and (3) superior performance. Additionally, applied metacognition is taught and practiced to underscore the importance of learning new and better ways to think to be successful, as well highlighted excerpts from GALLUP® Organization's Born to Build text book, and exceptionally important elements of business plans drawn for discussion from various highly regarded resources.
